HICAP (Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program)
HICAP is a network of free community-based programs that provide help in understanding Medicare health and prescription drug benefits.

Assisted Living Waiver (ALW) – Available in Sacramento and Sonoma counties providing assisted living services to the elderly.

Program of All-Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE) – Provides medical and social services to enable older eligible adults to remain independent and in their homes. Available only to residents of areas with certain zip codes in Alameda. Contra Costa, San Francisco and Sacramento Counties.
